Batting positionBall-by-ball
Where in the order a player batted, read from who was at the crease rather than from the scorecard. This one works in Tests too — the number three is a Test question above all — but only from 2001, when the deliveries start. Bands work as well as exact numbers: the top order, the middle order, the lower order and the tail. Nobody agrees where those begin and end, so the answer always prints the numbers it used.

Two batters together: how many runs a pair have put on, their highest stand, who someone bats best with. Rebuilt from ball-by-ball data, so an all-time Test or ODI partnership list is declined rather than answered from a third of the record — ask for a period instead, or for the IPL and T20Is, where every match is covered.
Batter against bowlerBall-by-ball
One batter against one bowler: runs, balls, and how often the bowler got him out. Counted off the delivery stream, so it reaches back as far as the deliveries do — and a list of who dismissed a player most is declined where his career started before them, because the bowler at the top could be the wrong one.
How a batter got out
Count innings by how they ended — bowled, lbw, caught, run out, stumped, not out. Recorded on every scorecard back to 1877, so this reaches whole careers. Only the kind of dismissal is held: who took the catch, and what the bowler was bowling, are not.

Catches, stumpings and run-outs, counted from deliveries. Complete for the IPL and T20Is; for Tests and ODIs it is the modern era only.
